Remarkable work

During the intervention period of the organization, Education program is most remarkable program due to its result and impact in the society. Due to the socio economic status many children could not go to the school because of their poverty and negligence of their family. Some are drop out in the class III and entered in the risky job. For mainstreaming the non going and drop out 8-10 aged children, CRESCENT implemented NFPE at the area from 2005 to 2017 by the support of BRAC. During the period, CRESCENT established 37 school at the most vulnerable area where 1110 children. Provide daily teaching support  and supported educational materials . Major result of the program is  total 440 children admitted in class IV after completed class III (3 years during course) and 644 children admitted in class XI after completed class V ( 4 years during course).

Now those children are the regular student of higher class who are mainstreamed through the education program.

Program and Project:

CRESECENT selects the working issues based on community demand, organizational motto with social responsibility. During the period, CRESCENT intervened and has plan to intervene on many issues successively by considering the social need and to achieve the organizational goal. CRESCENT has divided the whole activities under major four (4) intervention area. CRESCENT implements all of the projects under these major intervention areas. Major intervention areas with existing issues are –

Beside the major intervene issues; CRESCENT has cross cutting issues which consider in each intervention.  Gender, Ethnic/marginalize rights and local resource development are the cross cutting issue of CRESCENT.
