Housing Programme:

The main objective of the program is to provide loans with only a 2.5% service charge payable in 3 years to ease the acute crisis of housing the homeless poor and underprivileged people of the country, especially women laborers, families made homeless by river erosion, and urban slum poor people.

Crescent Organization has been implementing this program since 2012, with the financial support of Bangladesh Bank. So far, 325 houses have been completed. More than 150 houses have been allocated for construction on the occasion of Mujib Barsha in 2021. A total of Taka 1,95,00,000 has been allocated as Taka 1,30,000 for the construction of each house. The list of homeless is prepared by the coordination committee of Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Upazila Land Officer, Upazila Disaster Management Officer and Crescent Executive Director.
