Name of Project: People Lead Development Process (PLDP)

The objective of the project is to encourage farmers to produce poison-free crops by using organic fertilizers (e.g. vermicompost and dung manure) instead of old methods of using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Under this project, the Crescent organization has set up the vermicompost fertilizer (earthworm manure) project at 4 locations and arranged sharing meetings and exposure visits for young and old farmers.
